AGCO said on 20 Oct 2026 that it and Agility Robotics “have signed a commercial agreement” (AGCO release). According to the release, the pilot is “expected to begin in 2027” at AGCO’s production plant in Hesston, Kansas. Digit’s first tasks there are parts sorting and stacking and placing totes for storage.

The release gives no number of robots, no pilot length and no contract value, and it does not name the Digit generation. Agility published the same release on its site on the same day.

Because the generation is not named, the item is linked to the Agility Robotics company card only. A pilot that starts in 2027 is an agreement today, not a deployment, and no Digit card changes status.
