Reviewed Robopear Editorial

A robot's status on Robopear moves up only when a source shows the next level of evidence. This page defines each level, what counts as a price, how disagreements between sources are shown, and how to report an error.

StatusMeansEvidence that qualifiesNever counts
Claimed77 models on 20 Oct 2026The maker says the robot exists, can do a task, or will ship.Maker page, press release or regulatory filing.A render, a teaser or a third-party rumour.
Demonstrated14 models on 20 Oct 2026The robot performed a task that can be checked.Independent media that saw it; an unedited recording; a maker video or release that states a measurable result (distance, time, count).A vendor video without a measurable quantity; staged photos.
Piloting17 models on 20 Oct 2026The robot works at a named customer site in a test or proof of concept.Customer statement; maker release naming the customer and site; analyst note naming the site.A memorandum of understanding without a site; a trade-show booth.
Shipped14 models on 20 Oct 2026Units were delivered to buyers.Customer statement; filing or audited report; customs or invoice record; a maker delivery announcement that names the recipient or the quantity. The stamp shows which.Pre-orders, deposits, reservations, “available to order” pages, production capacity.

Each step keeps its own source and date, so a card shows the whole path, not only the latest level. A status is never raised on a promise: a delivery date announced by the maker stays a claim until the delivery is documented.

What counts as a price

For sale
A list price in the vendor's store or price list, or a monthly rental rate. 15 models on 20 Oct 2026.
Pre-order
A price the maker takes orders or deposits for, with no documented delivery. 6 models.
Enterprise quote
Sold on request. Placeholder figures that a store shows instead of a price count here. 53 models.
No published price
Checked, and no price is published. 48 models.

“Checked date” is the day the source was last read. Dates more than 30 days before the build read “last checked”; more than 90 days, “not verified”.

When sources disagree

Both values are shown, each with its owner: shipments by tracker, rounds by source, specifications by document. Values are never averaged. A disagreement inside one vendor's own documents is shown as published, with both documents linked.

Report an error

Write to hello@robopear.com with the subject “Correction:” and the page or robot. Include the field, the correct value and a public source for it. A correction that a source supports replaces the value; the record's checked date moves to the day of the change, and the old value stays visible in the open data history. Reports are answered from hello@robopear.com.
