AgiBot said on 30 Sep 2026 that it ranked first in global humanoid robot shipments in the first half of 2026, citing the “latest market data” of International Data Corporation (IDC). The release says AgiBot was “shipping more than 8,600 humanoid robots during the period,” about 35% of global shipments. It does not name the IDC report.
IDC’s own release of 29 Sep 2026 gives market totals for the half-year, nearly 25,000 units worldwide, and names AgiBot among vendors focusing on industrial uses, but publishes no unit count for AgiBot or any other vendor. The 8,600 figure therefore comes from AgiBot’s statement, not from a public IDC table.
The same AgiBot release says the company reached 20,000 robots produced in total in September 2026; that is a production count, not shipments. On Robopear, AgiBot’s shipment figures are recorded with the name of whoever counted them.
