IDC published its first-half 2026 figures on 29 Sep 2026, based on its Worldwide Annual Humanoid Robotics Tracker. By IDC’s count, global humanoid robot shipments approached 25,000 units in the first half of 2026, up 432.1% from a year earlier. IDC puts the market at more than US$740 million, up 322.7%.
Shipments in China exceeded 19,000 units, up 426.3%, about 77.9% of the global total. IDC says Chinese vendors accounted for over 95% of global shipments. The release names AgiBot, UBTECH and Galbot as vendors focusing on industrial uses; it gives no unit count for any vendor.
These are IDC’s figures. Other analysts count differently, and their totals are not comparable with IDC’s. Vendor-level shipment numbers on Robopear cards always name who counted them.
