Wandercraft said on 4 Sep 2026 that it “has secured 12 blue-chip customers for Calvin-40, its industrial humanoid robot.” The release places them in automotive, logistics, retail, healthcare and defense, and does not name any of them.
According to the release, Calvin-40 handles boxes, parcels, tires, panels and carts, and “Finer manipulation, such as picking and sorting, is already being developed and tested.” The release also cites Renault Group’s announcement that it intends to deploy 350 humanoid robots in the next 18 months; it does not say how many of those would be Calvin-40 units.
The release does not say whether the 12 customers hold contracts, run pilots or have received robots. In the Robopear humanoid table, Calvin-40 stays at “claimed” until a customer confirms a deployment.
